Many plans have been construed for the Grand Central Midrand rentals area. Many of these plans have now also been executed or are in the process of being completed. The majority of them include the development of the area in terms of usage for business or residential space. For example Gallagher Convention Centre (situated in close proximity to the Midrand Gautrain station) has been identified as a key area for developing more hotels and conference centres.
